January 2008: Overnight trip to Aberdeen sponsored by Cisco Systems, which paid for flights, hotel accommodation and dinner. Attended the Government IT 08 conference dinner, sponsored by Autonomy.

February 2008: Attended reception at the conference Empowering Citizens through Technology and Participation (at which I spoke, for a nominal fee) and a pub evening hosted by Edelman Public Relations.

March 2008: Received an iPod Shuffle (approx value £35) in a conference bag from the Multos smart card software consortium.

April 2008: Took part in media training exercise for the International Salvage Union. Working lunches paid for by IT companies 1Spatial and Fujitsu.

May 2008: Trip to Tetra World Congress in Hong Kong sponsored by Motorola, who paid for flights, hotel accommodation and dinners. Carried out a writing assignment for Deloitte.

June 2008: Spoke at ePSIplus conference in Brussels, for which I received a contribution towards travel expenses.
